Town of Huntington Cat Shelter operated by Little Shelter Animal Rescue
Our Mission
The Town of Huntington Cat Shelter is a municipal no-kill facility dedicated to serving the homeless pets and pet owners of Huntington Township. We are committed to ensuring every feline receives the love, safety, and high-quality care they deserve until they find their forever families.
Serving Our Community
As a proud municipal partner, we exist to bridge the gap for animals in need within our local community. Operated by Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center, we strive to serve our feline friends at no cost to the taxpayer, relying on our community's compassion and our dedication to animal welfare.
How We Care
We provide a safe, nurturing environment where cats can thrive while awaiting their perfect match. From the moment a cat arrives, our professional team ensures they receive premium medical attention, including spay or neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping. As a no-kill facility, we are proud to provide a secure space where cats can live comfortably as long as it takes to find their next home.
Your Adoption Journey
We believe that finding a new companion is a joyful, lifelong commitment, which is why we guide every family through a thoughtful, personalized adoption process. Our counselors work closely with you to understand your lifestyle and household needs, ensuring a successful bond for both you and your new pet. By meeting every household member and focusing on individual compatibility, we help create lasting connections that bring happiness to both adopters and our shelter residents.
