Our Mission
Bleu's K9 Rescue, Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization serving the Hudson Valley with a singular goal: saving dogs of all sizes and breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes. If an animal is in need, we will do our very best to help.
Why We Rescue
Beyond finding homes, we are deeply committed to community education regarding responsible pet ownership, with a special emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering. We also strive to break down persistent stereotypes surrounding various bully breeds, proving that every dog deserves a chance to shine.
How We Operate
We are a 100% foster and volunteer-based organization. Rather than relying on a physical shelter, our dogs receive the best possible care within the comfort of private foster homes, where they can thrive while awaiting their forever families. We also host regular fundraisers and adoption events to connect face-to-face with our local community.

Our foster homes are the backbone of our rescue, and we work closely with them to ensure every dog receives the love, socialization, and veterinary care they need. We view adoption as a joyful partnership and aim to provide the best experience possible for both our animals and the families who open their hearts to them.
