Our Mission
Our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals in need. We are dedicated to providing immediate shelter and care for homeless or abused animals while working tirelessly to reunite them with their owners or find them new, loving homes.
Our Story
Fulton County Regional SPCA, or FCRSPCA for short, began as the Regional Animal Shelter in 2002, born from a grassroots group of dedicated animal advocates. Since reincorporating as an SPCA in 2019, we have operated as a 100% volunteer-run, donation-funded organization. In November 2025, we moved into our new facility on S Kingsboro Ave in Gloversville, allowing us to expand our life-saving services and better serve our community.
How We Care
We are a small, tight-knit shelter with a big heart, staffed entirely by volunteers who are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all animals. While our physical space is limited, we maximize our impact by utilizing a dedicated foster network to provide care for those who do best in a home setting. Our team focuses on locally found animals, ensuring that the pets in our own backyard receive the support they need.
