Since our founding in 1955, we have served as a vital resource for our community and its companion animals. For over fifty-five years, we have operated independently, receiving no federal, state, or county funding, relying instead on our community to sustain our mission.
Our Shelter Approach
Our shelter in Hudson, NY, is designed to be a safe, comfortable environment for the animals in our care. We pride ourselves on the fact that we do not euthanize animals for space constraints, ensuring that every pet has the time they need to find their perfect match. Our state-of-the-art facility includes specialized wings for our residents and dedicated staff who provide compassionate, high-quality attention to each animal.
