Incorporated on January 9, 1905, we have dedicated over 120 years to the prevention of cruelty to animals. As a local, independent nonprofit, we are not funded by national organizations, meaning our life-saving work is made possible by the unwavering support of our generous community.

We believe in a compassionate approach to animal welfare, which includes shelter, medical care, behavioral training, and an abundance of love. We operate as a no need to kill facility, ensuring that no healthy or friendly animal is euthanized due to overcrowding. Through collaboration and innovation, our dedicated team provides quality care to pets while they wait for their forever families.
