HumaneCNY
Our Mission
HumaneCNY is dedicated to serving the needs of Central New York's homeless cats and dogs by providing them with the compassion, respect, and care they deserve. Our vision is to create a better community through kindness to animals.
Our Journey
Since 1966, we have served as a passionate advocate for homeless animals in our region. We are a private, not-for-profit, no-kill shelter committed to providing these animals with the support they need while they wait for their forever homes.
How We Care
As a no-kill facility located in Liverpool, we prioritize the physical, emotional, and behavioral health of every animal in our care. We ensure every pet is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and receives necessary medical treatment to set them up for a healthy future. Our dedicated staff adheres to world-class care standards, ensuring our residents feel safe and loved throughout their stay with us.
The Perfect Match
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, and our thoughtful process is designed to ensure the most compatible, long-term bond between you and your new companion. When you visit us, our team works closely with you to understand your lifestyle and preferences, helping you find a pet that fits perfectly into your home. We view every adoption as a meaningful second chance, where our animals find the permanent, loving families they truly deserve.
