Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted, and homeless companion dogs. We work tirelessly to provide the love and shelter these deserving animals need until they find their perfect forever families.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we strive to address the critical needs of animals in our community. By providing compassionate care and promoting responsible pet ownership, we aim to reduce overpopulation and ensure a brighter future for the dogs who need us most.
We are an all-volunteer organization committed to the well-being of every dog in our care. Prior to finding their new home, each animal is thoroughly evaluated, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered by licensed veterinarians to ensure they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.
Our goal is to help you find a companion best suited to your unique lifestyle. We believe that a successful adoption is a partnership, which is why we carefully consider the needs of both the animal and your household to ensure a compatible, lifelong bond. Our team is deeply involved in every step of the process, from initial inquiry to home visits, as we get to know each dog's personality and requirements.
We invite you to be part of our rescue family by exploring our list of adoptable dogs or learning about our upcoming community events. Whether you are ready to adopt, interested in donating, or simply want to learn more about responsible animal care, we are here to connect.
