Hudson Valley SPCA - Orange County
Our Mission
The Hudson Valley SPCA is a dedicated no-kill sanctuary committed to rescuing, sheltering, and defending animals while actively seeking loving, forever homes for every one of them.
Our Story and Community
As the only no-kill facility in the Newburgh area and the sole provider of Humane Law Enforcement in Orange County, we stand at the front lines of animal protection. We operate two locations, our main base in New Windsor and our facility in Goshen, to extend our reach and save more lives across the region.
How We Operate
We are a 501(c)(3) organization that relies entirely on the generosity of our supporters, receiving no funding from federal, state, or local municipalities. Over 90% of your donations go directly to the essential care, medical treatment, and daily nourishment of our animals. Our staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the love and respect they deserve until they find their perfect match.
Your Adoption Journey
Finding a new family member should be a joyful experience, and we are here to help you make a lifelong connection. Our trained team takes the time to learn about your needs and the personalities of our animals to create a thoughtful, successful match. Because we prioritize the long-term well-being of our residents, we are always here to provide guidance and support as you welcome your new companion home.
Connect With Us
We invite you to visit us daily between 12 PM and 4 PM to meet our wonderful animals currently waiting for their forever homes. You can also explore our available pets online, join our email list, or learn more about our ongoing wish lists to see how you can help. Together, we can ensure every animal in the Hudson Valley finds the safety and happiness they deserve.
