The Sullivan County SPCA is a dedicated no-kill shelter focused on rescuing hundreds of animals annually and placing them into loving forever homes. We are committed to providing care, compassion, and a second chance for every animal that comes through our doors.
Located in Rock Hill, New York, we have been serving our community for over 70 years as an independent, not-for-profit animal rescue organization. Because we do not receive government funding, our lifesaving work is made possible solely through the generosity of public donations and the support of our community.
Our shelter provides a safe, temporary haven for homeless and at-risk animals, including local strays and pets surrendered by their owners. We also extend our reach beyond our facility by supporting a large feral cat colony through an active trap/neuter/release program. From medical care and health screenings to public education on responsible pet ownership, we are here to support both animals and the people who love them.
We believe that successful adoptions are built on understanding the unique needs of both the pet and the adopter. Our team takes great care to provide thoughtful guidance and screening, ensuring every animal finds a home that matches their personality, energy level, and lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a playful companion or a calm partner, we are here to help you make a lifelong connection.
