Humane Society of Blooming Grove
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Blooming Grove is dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted and abandoned animals in our community. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our History and Community
Since 1975, our non-profit organization has served as a cornerstone of animal welfare in Washingtonville and the surrounding towns of Blooming Grove and South Blooming Grove. Our enduring commitment to these animals has allowed us to support the welfare of our local furry friends for nearly five decades.
How We Provide Care
Our shelter in Washingtonville offers a dedicated facility where our staff and volunteers provide essential care to animals waiting for their forever homes. From daily feedings and cleaning to providing much-needed socialization, we work hard to ensure our guests remain comfortable and loved during their stay. We rely on the generous support of our community through donations and volunteer time to keep our operations running smoothly.
