Our Mission
The Stanly County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving animals without hope and eliminating the neglect, abandonment, and euthanization of our local companions. We work tirelessly every day to ensure every pet receives a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our History and Dedication
Since our establishment on June 20, 2005, we have been rooted in the heart of Stanly County, North Carolina. Our society is fueled by the hard work of our volunteers and the incredible devotion of our community, all striving together to make a lasting difference for animals in need.
How We Provide Care
We rescue animals from local animal control, private homes, and other partner organizations to bring them into our system. Before finding their forever families, every animal receives comprehensive care, including vaccinations, heartworm tests, medical treatments, spaying or neutering, and microchipping. We are also committed to public education and local efforts to reduce the feral cat population.

Our simple adoption application allows us to learn about your lifestyle, ensuring that every placement is suited to the individual needs of the animal.
