Bladen County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Bladen County Animal Shelter is dedicated to serving our community by providing a safe, welcoming environment for homeless pets while promoting responsible care and healthy, active lifestyles. We strive to be a supportive partner to all our residents, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care.
Our Commitment to Bladen County
Established within the heart of the Coastal Plains, our organization addresses the vital need for animal welfare and safety in our growing rural community. Beyond our work with individual pets, we actively partner with local veterinarians to host community rabies vaccination clinics and help ensure public safety through diligent enforcement of state statutes.
How We Care for Your Future Friend
Our facility acts as a temporary home for animals awaiting their second chance at happiness. We are proud to work closely with 501c3 rescue organizations to broaden our adoption options and ensure every pet in our care has the best possible opportunity to find a loving home. We also maintain a professional team that remains available to respond to animal emergencies, reflecting our deep commitment to the welfare of both animals and the public.
Find Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a wonderful journey, and we are here to help you find a companion that fits perfectly into your life. Whether you are looking for a playful friend or a calm companion, our team is dedicated to supporting you through the process of meeting our shelter pets. We believe that every adoption strengthens our community and brings joy to both the pet and their new family.
