Cumberland County Animal Control
Connecting Pets and People
Cumberland County Animal Services is dedicated to the care and protection of animals through a commitment to public service and community outreach. We strive to create a safer, more compassionate environment where every pet and owner in our county can thrive together.
Our Commitment to Our Community
Established as a vital part of county government, our department serves as a resource for all residents and their animal companions. We work diligently to uphold high standards of animal welfare, managing essential programs that support the health, safety, and well-being of animals across our diverse municipalities.
How We Care
We maintain and operate the county animal shelter, serving as a hub of care and transition for pets awaiting their new beginnings. Beyond the shelter doors, our work is supported by an active Animal Services Board, which guides our outreach efforts, promotes responsible pet ownership, and helps us connect with the public in meaningful ways. Whether we are providing shelter or facilitating community education, our team is focused on ensuring each animal receives the attention and care they deserve.
The Joy of Adoption
Choosing to adopt is a beautiful way to enrich your life and provide a loving home to a animal in need. We believe in the power of the bond between pets and people, and we are here to help you navigate the process of finding the perfect companion for your household. Our staff is committed to transparency and support, ensuring you feel confident and prepared as you embark on this exciting new chapter with your pet.
