The Animal Rescue & Foster Program (ARFP) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned puppies and kittens. We strive to provide these vulnerable animals with the love, medical care, and socialization they deserve while preparing them for their forever homes.
Since our founding in 1992, we have remained committed to helping homeless pets find responsible, loving owners. As a private, non-profit group, we rely entirely on the generosity of the community and private donations to support our work without any government funding.
Our program operates on a foster-home model, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our rescues until they are ready for adoption. Additionally, we operate the Next Step Adoption Center, a dedicated facility that serves as a bridge for foster pets to meet potential families in a comfortable, community-focused setting.
We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful connections between people and their new companions. Our process includes a home visit and careful screening to ensure that every pet is placed in a living situation that supports their long-term health and happiness.
Whether you are looking to open your heart to a new furry family member or want to support our efforts as a volunteer, we would love to connect with you.
