Davidson County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Davidson County Animal Shelter, our goal is to give every abandoned and neglected pet a second chance to live a long, healthy, and happy life in a safe, loving home. We are dedicated to protecting and caring for the stray, injured, and unwanted animals that come through our doors.
Who We Are
As an open-admission facility, we serve as a vital community resource for Davidson County. Our work is made possible by the support of the county government and the generous donations of our community members, all of whom help us provide a safe haven for animals in need.
How We Operate
We provide a range of services to support animal welfare, including housing and caring for animals while they wait for their new families. Our dedicated staff and partners work hard every day to create a welcoming environment for the animals in our care. We are also proud to work alongside a network of rescue partners who help us provide specialized care for animals with unique needs.
Finding Your New Best Friend

By choosing to adopt, you are providing a deserving animal with the loving environment they need to thrive.
