Tender Mercies Pet Organization
Our Mission: Second Chances for Every Furry Friend
At Doggy Daze Boarding & Rescue, we are dedicated to saving homeless and at-risk animals by providing them with the medical care, love, and attention they deserve. Every animal we encounter is on a path to a brighter future, and our goal is to ensure they find the safety and warmth of a forever home.
Our Story and Community Roots
Originally founded by Janice Thompson as the Tender Mercies Pet Organization, our rescue has deep roots in compassionate care. While our name has evolved to Doggy Daze, our heart and mission remain unchanged as we continue our work from our established location in Macclesfield, NC. Beyond rescuing, we also support our neighbors by offering emergency veterinary assistance to pet owners facing financial hardship.
How We Provide Care
Our commitment to our animals is comprehensive and personalized. Every rescue receives essential veterinary care, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and necessary surgeries. While these resilient animals wait for their perfect match, they are nurtured in our approved foster homes or cared for within our dedicated kennel facility.
Find Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a life-changing journey that brings hope to animals and joy to families. We believe that dogs make our lives whole, and we take great care to ensure each pet is placed in a loving environment suited to their unique needs. Whether you are ready to open your heart to a new companion or looking to support our mission, you are helping us keep tails wagging and hearts full.
