Our History and Community
Founded in 1987, we are the oldest no-kill animal rescue in Wake County, NC. Over the decades, we have saved more than 20,000 animals across the Raleigh-Durham area, creating a lasting, positive impact on our community through unwavering compassion.
How We Care
We operate as a managed-admissions, no-kill organization that provides a lifetime commitment to the animals we rescue. Our care model relies on a blend of our dedicated adoption center and a supportive network of foster caregivers, ensuring that every cat and dog receives necessary medical care, socialization, and unconditional love before meeting their new family.
