Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue
A Place for New Beginnings
Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue is a dedicated organization providing a safe haven for homeless pets while building a no-kill community in Rutherford County, N.C. We believe that every dog and cat deserves a voice of hope and a chance for a new beginning.
Our Story
Born from a deep desire to nurture our local community, our rescue officially launched in 2019. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who have turned personal experiences of loss into a steady, strong heartbeat for the rescue community, ensuring every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve.
How We Care
We provide a comprehensive environment for our residents, offering medical care, nutritious food, and a safe, loving place to stay while they wait for their forever homes. Our staff and volunteers are deeply committed to maintaining this sanctuary, ensuring that every pet is met with loving arms and personal attention during their time with us.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe in the power of a thoughtful match, which is why we guide every potential adopter through an application process designed to ensure a successful, lifelong partnership. By taking the time to understand your family and lifestyle, we help you connect with the pet that is the perfect fit for your home.
