Cleveland County Animal Services
Our Mission
At Cleveland County Animal Services, we are dedicated to fostering a community where every animal is treated with care and respect. Our mission is to create seamless adoption experiences that connect amazing pets with their perfect forever homes.
Serving Our Community
Located in Shelby, NC, our center serves as a vital resource for the people and pets of Cleveland County. Beyond providing a safe harbor for animals in need, we offer essential services ranging from field support and pet surrendering assistance to public health education regarding rabies and wildlife.
A Dedicated Approach to Care
We operate as a managed-admissions shelter, prioritizing the well-being and health of every resident. By utilizing both our facility and foster networks, we work to ensure that each pet receives the enrichment and medical care necessary to prepare them for life with a new family.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and our priority is making the best possible match for you and your future companion. Our compassionate team takes the time to get to know our animals, providing initial medical exams, vaccinations, and spay or neuter services so that your new best friend is ready to thrive from day one.
Get Involved
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer, foster, or donate, your support allows us to continue serving our great community. We invite you to visit our shelter on Airport Road or explore our website to view our current adoptable pets and see how you can make a difference in the life of a shelter animal today.
