Saving Grace Animals for Adoption
Our Mission
Saving Grace Animals for Adoption is dedicated to helping homeless animals in our community find permanent, loving homes where they are treated as cherished family members for the rest of their lives. We strive to foster lifelong connections between well-deserving dogs and families, creating a positive and sustainable impact in North Carolina.
Our Journey
Founded in 2004 by Molly Goldston, Saving Grace began with a vision to provide a path for deserving dogs from under-resourced, rural shelters to find their perfect families. Over the last two decades, our community has grown exponentially, and we have proudly placed over 50,000 dogs into nurturing homes.
How We Operate
We believe in providing a more natural, non-traditional shelter environment that allows dogs to interact, socialize, and showcase their true personalities while awaiting their forever families. Our organization is 95% volunteer-run, with a dedicated team of fosters and volunteers managing everything from daily care and transportation to life-saving medical treatments and specialized surgeries.
The Adopter Connection
We know that your new best friend is waiting to meet you, and we are here to help you find a perfect match. By asking thoughtful questions about your lifestyle and family dynamics, our counselors help ensure each adoption is a successful, joyful partnership where both the dog and the adopter can thrive. We prioritize finding families who truly 'click' with our pups, ensuring a lasting bond built on mutual love and respect.
