Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation
Our Mission
Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping animals in our area live their best lives. Since 2005, we have worked to find and keep loving homes for dogs and cats by providing the care and support they need to flourish.
A Legacy of Compassion
We believe in the power of community to change lives, which is why we rely entirely on the generosity of private donors and business sponsors. Because we receive no funding from county, state, or federal governments, our work is driven by animal welfare advocates who share our passion for giving every pet a second chance.
Our Approach to Care
Our approach is multi-faceted, combining a supportive shelter environment with a robust foster program to ensure each animal receives the physical and mental care they deserve. We prioritize behavior training and socialization to help our rescues adapt to new circumstances, while our medical and wellness programs ensure they are ready for their forever homes. By offering resources like our community pet pantry and spay/neuter services, we support pet owners in keeping their beloved companions happy and healthy.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to matching great animals with responsible, loving families. We aim to be the best versions of ourselves so we can bring out the best in every cat, dog, and person that crosses our doors, ensuring that every transition is a success story.
