Clermont County Animal Shelter
A Second Chance for Every Dog
Our mission at the Clermont County Animal Shelter is to provide a safe, caring environment for stray, lost, and neglected dogs while working tirelessly to find them their forever homes. We are dedicated to reducing the number of homeless dogs in our community and acting as a primary resource for responsible pet ownership.
Our Commitment to Care
Located in Batavia, Ohio, we operate as a public, no-kill facility that serves as a vital resource for our community. Our professional team, ranging from trained medical staff to dedicated kennel attendants, ensures every dog in our care receives the attention they deserve. We are proud to maintain a standard of care that reflects our deep commitment to animal welfare.
The Heart of Our Shelter
We believe in the power of community, which is why we rely on a collaborative approach to support our dogs. Beyond our county staff, we are supported by a wonderful network of volunteers who provide hands-on care, from walking and bathing to specialized fostering. Our foster families play a critical role in helping our dogs adjust to household life, socialize, and thrive as they prepare for their journey to a new family.
