A History of Compassion
Our journey began in 1990 when founders Polly Wardle and Diane Less started a small project from their own homes, focused on education and the vital importance of spaying and neutering. Today, our 37-acre facility serves as a place of hope and healing, built to address pet overpopulation while providing a safe haven for those in need.
How We Care
Operating as a 501(c)3 non-profit, we maintain a state-of-the-art facility that includes a veterinary hospital, cat rooms, and dog kennels to ensure every animal receives proper medical care and attention. Our dedicated team and community volunteers work tirelessly to provide for abandoned animals, offering everything from preventative healthcare and dental medicine to daily love and socialization while they wait for their forever homes.
