Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue and Peppermint Pig Thrift & Gift
Our Mission
Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving lives and giving animals a second chance through rescue, compassion, and community support. We believe every companion animal deserves a loving forever home.
A History of Care
Established in 2006, we have spent nearly two decades growing our mission in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a 100% volunteer-operated 501(c)(3) organization, we exist to provide essential care, rehabilitation, and advocacy for needy animals in our local community.
Our Unique Model
We are a 100% foster-based, no-kill rescue, ensuring our animals thrive in caring home environments while they await their permanent families. To sustain this vital work, we operate the Peppermint Pig Thrift and Gift store, where 100% of proceeds directly fund the veterinary bills, specialized diets, and daily needs of our rescue animals.
The Adopter Connection
We believe in building lifelong partnerships, which is why we carefully match each pet to the best possible home. By understanding the unique personalities and needs of our rescues, we help ensure a joyful, successful transition for both the animal and your family.
Join Our Mission
We invite you to be part of our heartwarming journey by meeting our current adoptable pets online or visiting our thrift store in Cincinnati. Whether you choose to adopt, foster, or shop, your support helps us continue saving lives every single day. We look forward to connecting with you and helping you find your new best friend.
