Save the Animals Foundation
Giving Hope, Saving Lives, and Finding Love
The Save The Animals Foundation (STAF) is a community-driven, no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned cats and dogs. Every day, our volunteer-powered team transforms stories of hardship into happy endings, ensuring every animal receives the love and security they deserve.
Our History and Our Mission
Since 1988, STAF has committed to alleviating the suffering of homeless animals throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. We believe that every life counts, which is why we provide a safe haven for those who have experienced neglect, illness, or injury, guiding them patiently until they find their perfect forever families.
How We Provide Care
STAF is 100% volunteer-operated and privately funded, meaning every dollar donated goes directly to the well-being of our animals. We provide a nurturing sanctuary environment where our cats and dogs receive nutritious meals, regular veterinary care, and daily socialization. From specialized feline comfort programs to canine obedience training, our animals thrive in an environment managed by over 400 dedicated, compassionate volunteers.
Your Partner in Adoption
We believe in creating the best possible matches for both our animals and your family. Because we take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality, history, and needs, our adoption process is thoughtful, personalized, and designed to ensure a lifelong bond. We are with you every step of the way, offering ongoing support to ensure your new companion feels right at home.
