Friends of Felines Rescue Center
Our Mission
Friends of Felines' Rescue Center is a dedicated, non-profit, cage-free, and no-kill feline care facility located in Defiance, Ohio. We are committed to providing a safe, loving environment for cats and kittens while working to reduce feline overpopulation in our community.
Our History
Founded on September 1, 1999, our rescue center grew from a small vision into a vibrant sanctuary. Over the decades, we have evolved from a simple garage setup into a comprehensive facility, continuously raising our standards to ensure the highest quality of care for every resident.
How We Care
Our cats live together in a clean, thoughtfully designed, cage-free environment featuring catwalks, sunny windows, and cozy furniture where they can play and nap freely. Each resident receives professional veterinary care, including thorough health testing, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their next chapter. We pride ourselves on creating a space where cats can thrive as individuals until they find their perfect forever home.
Your Partner in Adoption
Adopting is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect feline companion for your lifestyle. We focus on matching families with cats who are well-suited to their homes, ensuring a lifetime of love and companionship. Because we view our cats as cherished family members, we require that all of our rescues be placed in 100% indoor-only homes.
