Columbus Humane
Our Mission
At Columbus Humane, our mission is to fight animal cruelty, help animals in need, and advocate for their well-being. We believe that when we raise expectations and provide the right resources, everyone in our community thrives.
A Legacy of Compassion
Since 1883, we have served the animals and people of our community with unwavering dedication. Over the past 140 years, we have evolved from a small society into a team of experts committed to creating a world where all animals live free of suffering.
How We Care
Our work is made possible through the generous support of our community, as we are not a government agency. We provide a safe, high-quality shelter environment in Hilliard and rely on a remarkable network of foster families to give pets a place to land. Our facility includes a state-of-the-art hospital and stimulating environments designed specifically to reduce stress and promote healing.
The Adoption Partnership
Adoption is a life-changing experience for both you and your new companion. Our team of Client Care experts is dedicated to ensuring a thoughtful match, providing you with the knowledge and support you need for a successful transition. We believe that every companion animal deserves to be a valued member of a loving family.
