Alleycats & Aristocats
Our Mission
At Alleycats & Aristocats, our mission is to ensure that every cat, regardless of its origins, receives love, dignity, and the opportunity for a better life. We are dedicated to the ethical, humane, and compassionate treatment of all cats—whether found, fancy, feral, or forfeited.
Our Story and Purpose
Founded in January 2022, our rescue addresses a significant need in the Northeast Ohio area by providing adoption and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services. By bridging the gap between rescue and responsible breeding, we aim to reduce the population of homeless community cats while helping retired purebreds find their perfect forever homes.
How We Care
We operate as a volunteer-driven, foster-based rescue that prioritizes the health and well-being of every animal in our care. Before adoption, every cat is sterilized, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and microchipped to ensure they are ready for their new family. Our downtown Medina location features free-roaming areas where potential adopters can visit and mingle with our wonderful residents.
Your Adoption Journey
We believe that adopting a cat is a lifelong commitment, and we are here to support you in finding the perfect companion for your home. Our adoption process is thoughtful and transparent, ensuring a permanent, loving placement that brings joy to both the cat and your family. Every adoption includes 30 days of free behavioral support through Petcademy.org to help ensure a smooth and successful transition.
Join Our Family
We are a community of cat lovers, and we invite you to be part of our vision for a more compassionate world. Whether you are looking to adopt, want to learn more about our upcoming events, or simply wish to visit our space in Medina, we would love to connect with you. 10/12 - Honey - female - 4 years old - over 650 days in our care!! Honey was rescued from a breeding situation that had become overwhelming for their caretaker along with multiple other cats. Honey is technically part Savannah, however we are unsure what generation. Honey loves her naps but ALSO her playtime! This little diva gets worked up for a good play sesh. Honey also loves to indulge in a good chat. She will need an experienced cat owner who is willing to give her the time and space to feel safe and warm up to you. She will likely do best in a home with older children or only adults and with limited other pets (she loves attention!!) Once you have earned her trust, she is a sweetie with ENDLESS personality! #cats #CatsOfInstagram #CatLovers #catrescue #neohio
