Middleburg Heights Animal Shelter

Our Mission

At the Middleburg Heights Animal Shelter, our mission is to place animals into safe, warm, and loving environments. We are a no time limit shelter dedicated to caring for adoptable cats and dogs until they find their perfect forever homes.

Providing Compassionate Care

Our commitment to our animals goes beyond just providing shelter. We ensure every pet receives essential medical care, including spay and neuter services, age-appropriate vaccinations, and testing for disease.

While they await their new families, our residents are cared for by our dedicated staff and volunteers. We maintain clean, disinfected living spaces and provide daily exercise, socialization, and training to ensure our animals are ready for their next chapter.

Building Lifelong Friendships

We believe that adopting a pet is a significant, beautiful decision that changes lives for years to come. Our team works tirelessly to facilitate the best possible match, diligently assessing the specific needs and personalities of each animal to help you find your ideal companion.

We provide comprehensive information about each pet to ensure you feel supported and informed throughout the journey. We encourage you to visit our shelter to meet the wonderful cats and dogs currently awaiting a family of their own.

Get Involved

Whether you are ready to adopt, interested in fostering, or looking to join our team of volunteers, there are many ways to make a tangible impact. We invite you to explore our available pets online or visit us at our facility on Engle Road to learn more about how you can support our cause.

Our dedicated community makes our life-saving work possible, and we are always looking for new, caring individuals to join our mission. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend.
