Knox County Ohio Dog Shelter
Our Mission
The Knox County Dog Shelter is dedicated to the well-being and successful re-homing of every dog in our care. We work tirelessly to ensure that each animal receives the support and medical attention needed to thrive.
Our Commitment to Care
Funded and managed by Knox County, our shelter operates in close cooperation with the Knox County Humane Society to maximize our impact. Our staff and volunteers are deeply committed to maintaining the health and happiness of every resident during their stay with us.
Comprehensive Wellness
We take pride in our transparent and thorough preparation of every adoptable dog. Our $120 adoption fee is an investment in your new companion's future, covering a current-year dog license, vaccinations including Bordatella, DHPP, and Rabies, a heartworm test, and one month of preventative medication. We also provide spay/neuter services and microchipping, ensuring you leave with peace of mind.
Building Lifelong Friendships
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your home. By choosing to adopt from us, you are supporting a local mission rooted in compassion and community service. We believe every dog deserves a loving forever home, and we are honored to facilitate that transition for you.
