Canine Collective
Our Mission
At Canine Collective, we are dedicated to providing rescued dogs a second chance at finding their forever homes. Our mission is built on compassion, ensuring every dog in our care receives the support they need to transition into a loving family environment.
Who We Are
Founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Plain City, Ohio, we step in to assist dogs from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, and families facing crisis. We believe that every dog deserves a safe place to land and the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their past circumstances.
Our Care Model
We operate through a diverse network of care, combining a physical kennel facility in Plain City with a devoted team of foster homes. This blended approach allows us to provide specialized care for young puppies, nursing mothers, and dogs requiring extra socialization or medical attention. Furthermore, we are proud to offer a unique obedience program for our adult dogs in partnership with the North Central Correctional Institute.
Your Adoption Journey
We strive to create the perfect match, ensuring that our dogs find environments that support their specific needs. Because we want to set every adoption up for success, we have a thoughtful application process and work closely with adopters to coordinate meetings with our dogs. Whether a dog is currently at our kennel or in an off-site foster home, our team is committed to making the meeting and transition process as smooth and joyful as possible.
