The Humane Society of Ottawa County is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to taking care of animals and each other. We provide essential services and resources to help people and their pets, striving to be a voice that upholds the humane treatment of all animals.

Since our establishment in 1976, we have proudly served the residents of Ottawa County and beyond. We are committed to providing vital resources that support both animals and the children and adults who love them.

As a no-kill shelter, we provide a safe, compassionate environment for abandoned, neglected, and unwanted animals. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to care for these pets until they find their perfect forever homes, and we are deeply committed to spay and neuter programs to ensure long-term animal welfare in our community.
