Humane Ohio is dedicated to ending pet homelessness in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan by providing high-quality, affordable spay/neuter services and promoting responsible pet care. We believe that preventing unwanted litters is the most powerful way to ensure every pet lives a happy, healthy life.
A Legacy of Care
Since we opened our doors in 2006, Humane Ohio has been a pillar for our community, having successfully spayed or neutered over 280,000 animals. Our work is driven by the conviction that prevention is the best defense against pet overpopulation, and we have spent two decades turning that vision into a reality.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we operate a specialized clinic in Toledo where our team of licensed veterinarians and skilled veterinary technicians provide professional, compassionate care for every animal. We perform high-quality surgeries by appointment, focusing exclusively on spay/neuter to maximize our impact. By keeping our services accessible, we support both pet owners and our community cats, ensuring that quality care is never out of reach.
