SICSA
Our Mission
At SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center, we are dedicated to promoting the welfare and adoption of companion animals, while nurturing loving, lifelong relationships between pets and people.
Our History and Vision
Founded in 1974 by a group of dedicated individuals, SICSA has served the Miami Valley for 50 years as an alternative to the traditional animal welfare system. We envision a future where animal shelters are a thing of the past and where a strong network of pet owners and animal lovers can support one another in providing care for every animal in our community.
Our Commitment to Care
In 2020, we opened our state-of-the-art facility on Washington Church Road to better support our mission. This location features a spacious veterinary clinic, a temporary care wing, and numerous play yards where our team provides high-quality care for animals while they await their forever families.
The Adopter Connection
We believe that every adoption is the beginning of a beautiful partnership. Our adoption specialists work closely with each individual, prioritizing thoughtful matches based on lifestyle and personality rather than standardized requirements. By getting to know both our animals and our adopters, we ensure that every placement is built for long-term success.
Find Your New Best Friend
When you choose to adopt, you are doing more than just adding a devoted companion to your household—you are helping us save lives. We invite you to view our adoptable cats and dogs online or visit our Adoption Center in Washington Township to meet your perfect match today. Our team is here to support you throughout your journey of bringing a new family member home.
