Our Mission
Brave Breed Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to providing a sanctuary for at-risk animals while behaviorally preparing them to find their perfect forever home and family. We believe every dog deserves to be treated with care and respect on their journey toward a loving future.
Why We Started
Established in June 2018 in West Milton, Ohio, our organization was born from a desire to address the critical need for animal rescue and to combat unnecessary euthanasia. Our founders bring immense, diverse experience in dog rescue, allowing us to implement best practices that prioritize the long-term well-being of the dogs in our care.
How We Operate
Unlike many foster-based organizations, Brave Breed Rescue operates a physical facility that allows for comprehensive socialization and consistent routine. By keeping most of our dogs on-site, we can work closely with our professional trainer to focus on obedience and temperament. We also prioritize the long-term health of our animals, maintaining a 6-month minimum age policy for spay and neuter procedures to ensure proper physiological development.

We pride ourselves on our adoption process, which focuses on preparing every dog for success before they join your family. We are committed to creating lasting, happy partnerships between our rescue dogs and their new owners, ensuring each animal is ready for the transition to a comfy couch and a loving home.
