Cabin Critters Rescue
Our Mission
Cabin Critters Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to rescuing animals from neglectful or abusive situations and finding them the loving, forever homes they deserve. We strive to provide every animal in our care with a safe environment where they can thrive and be cherished.
Our Story and Community Roots
Since our inception in February 2019, our team in Scioto County, Ohio, has successfully rescued over 2,400 dogs, cats, and other animals. Beyond direct rescue, we are deeply committed to community education, promoting responsible ownership, and supporting pet owners in need through resources like our emergency pet pantry and vaccination awareness.
How We Make a Difference
We operate through the heart of our dedicated volunteers, maintaining a shelter facility in Wheelersburg while also collaborating with foster homes to provide temporary stability. Our work is supported by community partnerships and programs, including microchipping services and specialized support for veterans and first responders. We work tirelessly to ensure that our rescues receive the care they need while they wait for their perfect match.
Finding Your Forever Companion
We take our adoption process very seriously because we believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life. Our team works hard to make thoughtful connections, and we encourage you to browse our current adoptable pets to find your new best friend. By choosing to adopt, you are becoming a vital part of a rescue journey that saves lives and strengthens our community.
