Ardmore Animal Care Inc.
Our Mission
Ardmore Animal Care Inc. is dedicated to providing humane treatment for lost and unwanted animals in Carter County. We strive to save lives by promoting responsible pet ownership and offering resources to keep pets healthy and happy in their homes.
Our History
Our journey began in 1986, when a passionate group of citizens organized to address the needs of local animals. With the generous support of the community, local foundations, and the city of Ardmore, we built our facility entirely through donations. This foundation of community spirit continues to drive our life-saving mission today.
How We Help
We operate as a community hub for animal welfare, serving around 3,000 animals each year. Our facility provides shelter, care, and enrichment, supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who give over 1,500 hours annually. Beyond housing, we offer a low-cost resource clinic, a foster program, and unique initiatives like our Doggy Daycation to ensure every animal feels loved and cared for while awaiting their forever home.
Connecting With Your New Best Friend
Adopting is a joyful journey, and we are here to help you find the perfect match. We believe that when you adopt, you are truly saving a life, and we are committed to preparing you for this transition. Every adoption includes initial vaccinations, treatments, a wellness exam, and spay or neuter services to ensure your new companion starts their life with you on the right paw.
