The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville is dedicated to providing compassionate care for abandoned animals, promoting responsible pet ownership, and helping every rescue find a loving forever home.
What began in 1999 as a grassroots effort by two individuals rescuing animals from local streets has grown into a vital community resource. Fueled by a dedicated village of volunteers and supporters, our dream of a dedicated sanctuary became a reality, allowing us to serve more animals in need than ever before.
Operating as a non-profit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of the public and private foundations rather than government funding. Our 8,000 square-foot facility provides a safe, nurturing environment for dogs and cats as they wait to be adopted. For those who may never find a permanent family, we offer a sanctuary where they can live out their lives with consistent food, shelter, and love.
We believe in building lifelong partnerships between our rescues and their new families. Our adoption process is designed to ensure a thoughtful fit for both the individual and the animal, prioritizing a successful transition to their forever home. We welcome your application and look forward to introducing you to our wonderful residents.
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer your time, or support our low-cost spay/neuter clinics, there are many ways to make a difference. Visit our facility on US 60 to meet our animals, or explore our website to view available pets and discover how you can support our mission. We are here, Monday through Saturday, ready to help you change a life.
