Memphis Street Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Memphis Street Animal Rescue is dedicated to battling pet overpopulation in Oklahoma through a no-kill shelter environment, responsible adoptions, medical aid, and community outreach. We are committed to saving lives and ensuring every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve.
Who We Are
Born out of childhood dreams and a passion for giving back, we are a Broken Arrow-based non-profit serving the greater Tulsa area. Our name serves as an homage to the specific street in Broken Arrow where our journey began, and our work is powered entirely by the hearts and hands of our local volunteer community.
How We Operate
We are a foster-based rescue, believing that time spent in a loving home environment is the best preparation for long-term placement success. Additionally, we work toward self-sustainability through our Thrift & Paw shop in Broken Arrow, where proceeds from community donations help us continue our mission. Missions like this truly take a village, and we are proud to be building that support system for animals in need.
Your Role in Our Journey
We take great care in our best-fit adoption policy, focusing on matching the unique needs of each pet with the right household dynamic to ensure a happy, lifelong bond. When you choose to adopt from us, you aren't just finding a companion; you are joining a dedicated community of animal lovers working to change lives for the better.
