City of Claremore Animal Control
Our Mission
The City of Claremore Animal Control Division is dedicated to protecting both our citizens and our animals by promoting responsible pet ownership through public education and the consistent enforcement of animal welfare laws.
Our Commitment to the Community
As a vital division of the Claremore Police Department, we serve our community by maintaining a safe environment for residents and pets alike. We are committed to capturing stray animals, enforcing leash laws, and ensuring the health and safety of animals throughout our city.
How We Serve
Operating out of our shelter at 815 W Ramm Road, our dedicated team works daily to provide care, promote wellness, and facilitate safe, happy transitions for animals in need. We actively engage the public through educational outreach and offer rewarding volunteer opportunities, such as bathing, walking, and exercising our shelter residents, to help them thrive while they await their forever homes.
Your Partner in Adoption
We believe that adoption is a beautiful, life-changing commitment, and we want to help you find the perfect companion for your family and lifestyle. When you visit us, one of our animal control officers will be happy to guide you through the process and introduce you to your new family member.
Find Your New Best Friend
Are you ready to welcome a new four-legged friend into your home? We invite you to view our available pets online or visit us in person at the shelter to meet the animals currently in our care. Please reach out to us at 918-341-1260 to learn more about our current residents and start your adoption journey today.
