Friends For Life Animal Society
Our Mission
Friends for Life Animal Society is dedicated to providing a caring, safe, and loving environment for abused and abandoned animals in rural western Oklahoma. We are committed to finding responsible, forever homes for every animal in our care while educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter programs.
Our History and Community
Established in 2003 as the Custer County Friends for Life Society, we officially achieved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in 2004. In 2017, we opened our shelter facility on the south side of Clinton, Oklahoma, allowing us to serve pets in need across Weatherford, Clinton, and the surrounding rural areas.
How We Help
Our organization relies on a blend of shelter care and a vital foster home network. While our shelter provides a dedicated space for dogs, our foster homes offer cats and other rescues a temporary, safe place to thrive while learning essential family skills. By utilizing foster environments, our animals build the confidence they need to succeed in their future homes.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe in creating lifelong partnerships through thoughtful matching. Our adoption process focuses on understanding your unique home environment to ensure both you and your new companion are set up for a successful transition. Whether you are looking for a high-energy friend or a low-maintenance companion, we work closely with you to find the right fit for your lifestyle.
