Oklahoma Alliance for Animals is dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation, encouraging responsible pet ownership, and promoting the humane treatment of animals through community collaboration and education.
Established in 2004 as a Tulsa-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we were founded to bring together the resources needed to overcome pet homelessness, abuse, and neglect. Rather than acting as a stand-alone facility, we believe that real change happens when we connect animal rescue organizations, veterinarians, municipal shelters, law enforcement, and dedicated community members to reach common goals.
While we are not a traditional rescue, we do occasionally take in animals from cruelty and injury cases. Our organization operates uniquely by facilitating a collaborative network to reduce the number of animals entering municipal shelters while increasing successful adoptions. We believe in providing support to our community through programs like Unchain OK and our pet food pantry, ensuring that we address the root causes of animal welfare issues in Oklahoma.
Choosing to adopt means you are gaining a four-legged best friend who is forever grateful for a second chance at life. By adopting, you move our state closer to a vision where every healthy, adoptable dog or cat has a loving home. Whether you are ready to find a new companion or want to support our mission through volunteering, we invite you to be part of this transformation.
We welcome you to visit us at 7140 S. 69th E. Ave. in Tulsa to meet our animals during our regular hours of operation. Please visit our website to view available pets, apply to adopt, or explore our volunteer opportunities to help us create a more humane future for Oklahoma’s animals.
