Peaceful Animal Adoption Shelter
Our Mission
At the Peaceful Animal Adoption Shelter (PAAS), our mission is to provide compassionate care, protection, and advocacy for homeless, abandoned, and neglected animals. We are dedicated to creating a safer and more humane community through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and responsible placement.
Building a Safer Community
PAAS was established to support the City of Vinita by operating a no-kill shelter for adoptable animals in collaboration with the Vinita Police Department. We believe that by working together with local partners, we can provide the essential services needed to support both pets and the families who love them.
Our Approach to Care
We are a transparent, no-kill organization that focuses on the physical and emotional well-being of our animals. Beyond our shelter services, we proudly provide a low-cost spay and neuter clinic, vaccinations, microchipping, and education on responsible pet ownership to ensure our community pets lead long, healthy lives.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adopting a pet is a joyful, life-changing journey, and we are here to make it simple. Once you find a furry friend you connect with, our process includes a straightforward application, a helpful meeting with an adoption counselor, and a final contract to ensure everyone is ready for a happy transition into your home.
