Caledon Animal Shelter
A Heart for Our Community
At the Caledon Animal Shelter, our mission is to keep pets safe and healthy while promoting responsible pet ownership throughout our vibrant municipality. We believe that every animal deserves a loving environment, and we are here to bridge the gap between pets in need and the families ready to welcome them home.
Supporting Caledon’s Pets
Our work is rooted in a commitment to community safety and animal well-being, recognized by our status as a pet-friendly municipality by Better Cities for Pets. Whether through our dedicated animal care services or our community outreach, we strive to ensure that every pet in Caledon thrives alongside its residents.
How We Care for Our Animals
We operate a professional animal shelter located in Bolton at 12889 Coleraine Drive, where our team provides a safe environment for animals in our care. Beyond our facility, we offer a robust Foster Volunteer Program and the Home To Home service, which helps pets transition directly into new families without the stress of entering a shelter. We also support local feline health through our Community Cat Program, dedicated to the care of feral cat colonies in our town.
Your Journey to Adoption
Adopting a pet is a joyful partnership, and we are here to make that process as smooth and meaningful as possible. We facilitate all adoptions by appointment to ensure each animal receives the dedicated attention they deserve during their transition. Our team works hard to make thoughtful matches that bring happiness to both the animal and your family.
