Clarington Animal Services
A Safe Haven for Our Furry Friends
The Clarington Animal Shelter is dedicated to promoting a safe and healthy environment for both people and animals throughout our community. We are committed to reuniting lost pets with their families and finding loving, permanent homes for those in our care.
Our Commitment to Clarington
Owned and operated by the Municipality of Clarington, our shelter serves as a vital resource for pet welfare in Bowmanville. We step in to provide essential care for stray, injured, and surrendered animals, ensuring they have a secure place to stay while awaiting their next chapter.
How We Care
Our shelter operations are supported by a team of friendly staff and dedicated volunteers who provide daily care and enrichment for the animals. We utilize a comprehensive approach that includes fostering, professional sheltering, and careful coordination to ensure every animal’s individual needs are met during their time with us.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life, and we are here to help you make a match that lasts. By working closely with potential adopters, we strive to ensure that each pet finds a household environment where they can truly thrive.
