Our Mission
The Brant County SPCA is dedicated to the protection and care of all animals in our community through prevention, promotion, and protection. We strive to enlighten and enrich the quality of life for all members of our community, both human and animal.
Who We Are
For over 50 years, we have provided vital animal welfare services to the City of Brantford and the County of Brant. Since our shelter on Mohawk Street was built in 1969, we have remained committed to providing a healthy, safe environment for homeless animals, from cats and dogs to smaller companions like rabbits and birds.
How We Help
We are a not-for-profit organization that relies on the dedication of our staff and the generosity of our community, as we are not government-funded. Our work is powered by a vital network of volunteers and foster parents who provide comfort and security to animals needing extra care. Whether it is through our community outreach initiatives, pet food pantries, or life-saving foster programs, we work tirelessly to ensure every animal has a path to a better future.
