New Hope Animal Rescue is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of all animals in our care by providing them with every opportunity to live long, healthy lives. Our mission is to foster, find forever homes, and guide the relationship between animals and humankind with compassion.
Established in 2010 by a group of passionate citizens and veterinarian Dr. Kate Flanigan, our organization was founded in Guelph to provide an alternative rescue model. We serve the city and surrounding area, offering affordable adoption fees made possible through our low-cost spay/neuter program.
We are a non-profit organization run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers. While we operate a shelter specifically for our cats, many of our feline friends and all of our dogs reside in loving foster homes, which allows us to provide one-on-one care and rehabilitation in a comfortable environment.
Adopting an animal is a life-long commitment, and we believe in making the perfect match for both you and your new companion. We provide a support system for our adopters; if you need advice on your new family member, we are always just a phone call away. Our adoption process is designed to ensure stability and happiness for everyone involved.
If you are ready to open your home to a new companion, we invite you to view our adoptable animals and complete an application. Because we are a volunteer-run organization, our adoptions are managed by appointment only. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
