Humane Society London & Middlesex
Our Mission
Humane Society London & Middlesex exists to improve the lives of animals in our community by providing temporary shelter and connecting surrendered animals with their perfect new families. We are dedicated to creating a compassionate community where animals and humans thrive together.
Our History and Commitment
Established as a non-profit, charitable organization in 1899, we have spent over a century working tirelessly to advocate for and support animals in need. As a trusted leader in animal welfare, we are committed to providing care, education, and resources to build a more humane and harmonious future.
How We Provide Care
Operating from our dedicated shelter facility, we provide a safe, nurturing environment for thousands of animals each year. We are proud to affirm that we never euthanize for space, ensuring every animal receives the time and quality care they need until they are ready for their next chapter.
The Joy of Adoption
Adopting a pet is a wonderful experience that brings immense rewards to both the animal and your family. We carefully manage our adoption process to ensure every match is thoughtful and well-suited to the unique social, behavioural, and companionship needs of the animal, fostering lasting joy, hope, and connection.
Find Your New Best Friend
