The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society is dedicated to delivering innovative programs and compassionate services that enhance the lives of pets in need and the people who care for them. Together, we enhance lives, inspire compassion, and bring joy to pets and people.
Our History and Community
With roots spanning over a century, including the Niagara Falls Humane Society and the Welland & District SPCA, we joined forces in 2021 to streamline our services and reach more animals across the region. As a registered non-profit charity that does not receive government funding, we rely on the heart and generosity of our community to carry out our vital work.
How We Care for Animals
We operate animal centers in Niagara Falls, Welland, and Port Colborne, providing a safe haven for homeless animals as they await their forever families. Our operations are supported by a dedicated team of staff and over 200 volunteers who contribute thousands of hours of service to ensure every animal receives the care they deserve. We also offer critical community support through our low-cost spay-neuter and wellness clinic programs.
