The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society is dedicated to delivering innovative programs and compassionate services that enhance the lives of pets in need and the people who care for them. Together, we enhance lives, inspire compassion, and bring joy to both pets and people.
For over a century, our organization has been protecting animals and supporting our community. By uniting the roots of the Niagara Falls Humane Society and the Welland & District SPCA in 2021, we have expanded our ability to provide shelter for homeless animals across the Niagara Peninsula.
As a registered non-profit charity, we operate animal centers in Niagara Falls, Welland, and Port Colborne, providing safe shelter for homeless animals while they wait for their forever homes. Our day-to-day operations are supported by a dedicated team of staff and over 200 volunteers who share their time and skills to ensure every animal receives compassionate care.
We are committed to fostering the important bonds between humans and animals that enrich us as individuals and families. By focusing on thoughtful adoptions and providing ongoing support services like our wellness and spay-neuter clinics, we strive to ensure every pet finds the perfect, loving environment to thrive.
We invite you to be part of our compassionate community of animal lovers. Whether you are looking to welcome a new companion into your home, interested in becoming a foster, or ready to help through volunteering or donations, we are grateful for your support.
